When it comes to building a backend for our Angular applications, we have a lot of choices. There are a ton of languages, frameworks, and platforms that will get the job done, but one of the most popular these days is Node.js. Building a data API with Node.js by itself is doable, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Hapi.js is a framework that gives us an abstraction over the tricky parts of building APIs with Node and it's truly a delightful one to work with.
